There's nothing more aggravating than to run out of daylight before you reach your destination. Experienced hikers share one thing in common: your backpack should be packed as efficiently as possible for your journey. The last thing you want to carry is extra needless weight. We put the Pak-LiteTM Flasher with a Lithium Battery to the test. We turned it on the Red Flashing mode and put it in the center of a block of ice. It was still flashing after 45 days!

Pak-Lite was powered by a Lithium Battery in the low mode for "one year" continuously. After one year, the Pak-Lite was dim, but you could still read a newspaper with the soft white light it continued to give off. One Year of Light! Wow!
